The Principle of Process

You may have heard that it is possible to have results without process. Don’t be deceived, lasting results require process

I love the fact that Elisha inherited the double portion, but then, why did he have to follow Elijah from one place to another?

That ‘Elisha saw it‘ was only the end of a process. That was not everything. The process had began from the time Elisha humbly followed Elijah, even through those times that he used to pour water on his hands…

It only takes a few seconds to read some verses of the Scripture, even though what happened took hours.

And in 2 Kings 2:1-12, we saw how Elisha had to follow Elijah, from Gilgal to Bethel, to Jericho, and finally to Jordan… In this, we see process!

Elisha could not attain the double portion, until the process was completed.
Don’t miss the point this morning

  • Process takes time
  • You may not be convenient with the process, but there is no other right means.
  • There is no result without a process.
  • The validity of the result is in the testimony of the process.

For when the process was completed, men of their own accord declared: Elijah’s
powerful spirit now rests upon Elisha. 2 Kings 2:15 Voice

Don’t be persuaded to abandon process. Follow it and your testimony will announce itself.

Good morning.
