Forgotten?

Do you know how it feels to be forgotten?

Let the truth be told. No one likes to be forgotten. But then, it happens to us. People get to forget us.

The Bible tells us, of how Joseph had met two men in prison. It is appropriate we don’t miss the lesson here… The state of a man does not determine his ultimate value…

  • …the one who will become the prime minister of the nation tomorrow, once had to be a prisoner.

  • …the one who would serve the wine of kings tomorrow, wore the apron of prisoners today.

Again we are reminded, the present state of a man does not determine his ultimate value.

Let us take a step further. Everything happened, till the point where Joseph asked his fellow-inmate now promoted to remember him.

“The chief cupbearer, however, did not remember Joseph; he forgot him,” the Scriptures tell us.

The thing is, who do you need to remember this evening, and this week?

The LORD bless you.
Good evening.
